About Department

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 1986 which is affiated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. The alumni of the department are working in various reputed organizations in India and abroad.

  The department is accredited twice by National Broad of Accreditation, New Delhi. The department offers UG, PG Courses with an intake of 120 and 18 respectively and facilitates R&D through VTU recognized research center.

  The department has received funds from various reputed agencies like AICTE, ISRO, ISTE, DRDO, VGST, KSCST and VTU for Research and Development and Establishment of Modern Laboratories. The Department has highly qualified and experienced faculty members with reputation in their areas of specialization. The department conducts seminars, workshops, conferences, add-on courses, webinars and training programs every year for the benefit of students and staff.

  The department provides facilities like Wi-Fi for E-learning and has state of the art seminar hall along with resourceful department library having an adequate number of books, E-journals, and magazines.

  The Department has well-equipped laboratories and digital classrooms. The department has been successful in 100% Placements. The Department has secured 12 VTU Ranks till date.
